Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Commercial Insurance Broker / Producer. The Commercial Insurance Broker / Producer will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients, identifying and assessing customer needs, and providing appropriate insurance solutions.
They will also participate in underwriting and policy renewal activities, engage in regular communication with the team, and adhere to insurance compliance regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage practices and principles
- Previous experience working in the insurance industry as a broker or producer
- Excellent customer service and account management skills
- Ability to identify client needs and develop appropriate insurance solutions
- Strong underwriting skills and knowledge of policy renewal activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingualism in English / Spanish is an asset
- Relevant certification in insurance or a related field is preferred - RIBO
