Estimator - Interior systems
Job description :
Specialized in the field of interior systems, in the commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors, for over 30 years, we are looking for an Estimator to join their team in the Montreal area.
Main responsibilities :
- Determine the quantities of materials required from plans and specifications.
- Analyze, plan, and estimate the steps, duration and costs related to the realization of projects.
- Close bids with the estimating manager to estimate the final cost of projects.
- Submit bids and follow up until the contractor's decision.
- Act as a reference during project execution.
- Support colleagues in the execution of their mandates.
- Perform any other tasks as requested by his superiors.
Skills and qualifications :
- DEC or AEC in estimation or other relevant field
- Good knowledge of construction materials
- Proficiency in reading plans and specifications
- Analytical mind
- Very meticulous
