Inside Sales Supervisor opportunity in the Saskatoon area!
As an Inside Sales Supervisor, you support agency management in formulating and implementing sales strategies, as well as establishing plans and budgets to develop accounts, margins and recruit new customers.
Responsibilities :
- Supervises inside sales and counter staff
- Trains and coaches inside and counter sales staff in order entry, quotations, margin improvement, problem solving and communication etiquette
- Takes initiative and direction from branch management and communicates it to employees
- Participates in team workload distribution
- Verify attendance registers, advises on recruitment matters, participates in performance appraisals, makes decisions on staff training and development, and assists in the application of disciplinary measures
- Analyze trends and contribute to branch action plans to correct problems, improve service and optimize productivity
- Liaise with suppliers for return authorizations
- Directs credit management with respect to credit extension and collection of accounts receivable, as well as claims and deductions
- Provides and organizes product training for team and vendors
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in inside sales
- 2 years’ experience supervising sales and managing a department’s profit and loss
- 3 years’ experience in the electrical field is desirable
- Knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods and coordination of people and resources
- Knowledge of customer service delivery principles and processes, including assessing customer needs, meeting service quality standards and evaluating customer satisfaction
- Administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, file and records management and other office procedures and terminologies
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasive and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Time management skills
- Demonstrate team spirit, leadership and flexibility
