Resortsof the Canadian Rockies Inc. are looking to fill the full-time winter seasonalGriz Kids Centre Assistant Supervisor position at Fernie Alpine Resort.
TheGriz Kids Centre offers combined indoor play and lesson packages for kids aged3-5. Reporting to the Assistant Directorof Snow School, the ideal candidate will be an excellentcommunicator and team player, strong customer service skills and enjoy workingin a fast-paced mountain environment.
Experience with Kids programs and the snowsports industry is an asset. We focus on building and maintaining long-lastingrelationships with our staff and guests and encourage you to come Experiencethe Ultimate and be a part of our staff team.

YouWill :
- Oversee daily operations of the childcare centre
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards
- Work in conjunction with Directors, manage financial aspects of operations including reporting, accounting procedures, and budgets
- Manage staff scheduling and conducting performance evaluations
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns from parents or staff
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance and incident reports
- Play and engage with kids during indoor time
- Responsible for making sure ratio targets are met
You Have :
- Early Childhood Educator certification (desired)
- Previous childcare experience, including experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Completed the 20-hour Responsible Adult Course (minimum requirement)
