GEMTEC currently has openings for a Civil Technician in our Halifax office location for a 4-month contract (September-December 2024).
The successful candidate will have experience or interest in general construction activities, materials testing and inspection services.
Educational & Experience Requirements :
- Experience with materials testing and inspection.
- Experience working in civil construction is considered an asset.
Main Duties :
- Laboratory testing of aggregates, soils, concrete and asphalt.
- Field testing and sampling of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt.
- Other duties as required.
Position :
4-month contract (September - December)
Other :
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
