ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Come join our Research & Development Engineering team in executing our long-term strategic plan. Our biggest challenges focus on reducing our costs, improving our existing products, and developing new products.

In your role, you will be called upon to lead or participate in various projects for product improvement, machinery development, cost reduction, automation, and tooling development.

You will be a resource person for our clients' technical issues, and you may be sent out in the field to troubleshoot their problems or to participate in wind tunnel testing.

We will count on you to support the Director of Engineering in his department management tasks, such as project management, budget management, scientific research and experimental development (SR & ED) documentation, patents, purchase orders and other departmental tasks.

You will also have the opportunity to support other team members.

ABOUT YOU

You are passionate about professional challenges and you want to have a positive impact on reducing greenhouse gases in the transportation industry.

You are innovative and you show curiosity and creativity. You also have the following assets :

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (with knowledge in aerodynamics and / or manufacturing considered an asset);
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
• 5-10 years of progressive experience;
• Knowledge of and compliance with SST conditions;
• Availability to travel abroad (mainly to the United States) occasionally (3-4 times per year) and according to current Public Health guidelines.
• Knowledge with Solidworks
