Industrial Hygiene Technician

In your role, you will

• Participate in the development & deployment of the Industrial Hygiene program and tools such as Respirator Protection Program, Hearing Conservation Program etc.
• Work closely with site Industrial Hygienists
• Perform onsite Health / Industrial Hygiene risk assessments (qualitative & quantitative)
• Participate in the development of sampling strategies and annual planning for exposure monitoring
• Conduct sampling campaigns including field planning and material preparation, report preparation and presentation of results to employees and management.
• Perform trend analysis on Industrial Hygiene data and identify areas for improvement
• Participate in the development of training related to the Industrial Hygiene program
• Perform regulatory compliance monitoring & impact assessments related to Industrial Hygiene
• Perform Industrial Hygiene evaluation / approval of new materials & processes

As our ideal candidate

• You hold a DEC in Industrial Hygiene or in a Health, Safety related field.
• You have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• You have strong interpersonal skills, presentation & communication skills.
• You have the ability to think strategically, search for original solutions, strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
• You are autonomous, structured, and able to coordinate the implementation of several projects simultaneously, in more than one Montreal site.
• You have excellent computer skills.
