Family Physician - Anesthesia
Job Description
St. Joseph’s Hospital, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is seeking a Family Medicine physician with enhanced training in Anesthesia.
Scope of practice includes family medicine, inpatient and outpatient care, emergency consults and specialist on-call coverage.
Site visit offered and encouraged for interested applicants.
This position is open until filled and may be filled prior to the posting close date.
Relocation Package
The successful candidate may be eligible for :
- The which provides up to $200,000 over five years to family physicians practicing, or returning to practice, in rural and remote communities in Saskatchewan
- The , which provides financial reward to physicians who practice in the province for extended periods ranging from $3,500 - $7,000

Job Qualifications
The successful candidate must have :
- licensure with the
- acceptable enhanced training in Anesthesia (ie : 3rd year residency in Family Practice Anesthesia)
- valid drivers license
- ACLS certification
- successful SHA credentialing including but not limited to 3 acceptable references and an acceptable criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
- current coverage.
- current, valid legal entitlement to work in Canada. In accordance with Canadian Foreign Worker requirements, preference will be given to qualified Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.
