JobDescription :
Our client is a transportation andlogistics company servicing Michigan andOntario.
We arecurrently looking for an experienced Safety and ComplianceAdministrator. Pay rate is based onexperience!
JobDuties :
- Maintain and update truckoperating binders
- Ensure all trucks have requireddocumentation at all times
- Explain driver manuals policiesand procedures to newemployees
- Lead driver training meetings andensure drivers are up to date on all policies andprocedures
- Handle fuel cards / receipts forall drivers
- Assist drivers whenneeded
- Handle licensing of all trucksand trailers
- Keep up to date on annuallicensing renewals
- Maintain originalownerships
- Assist with IFTA renewals and USpermits
- Maintain master records of truckstrailers and drivers
- Update records on a regular andtimely basis
- Provide fuel maintenance costreports etc. as requested bymanagement
- Order and maintain transponderunits
- Ensure all safety and legislativecompliance is met
- Assist HR with the recruitmentand onboarding process of newdrivers
- Review driver's logs andsafety checks
- Coordinate maintenanceschedules
- Provide communication betweenmanagement the operations team and drivers to ensure smoothoperation
- Communicate with insurancecompany regarding additions and deletions topolicies
- Other duties asassigned
MustHaves :
- 5 yearsof experience in a similarrole
- Experiencemanaging fleetoperations
- Knowledgeof industry regulations andchanges
- Excellentcomputer skills in Word Excel andOutlook
- Strong workingknowledge of DOT MTO FMCSA IFTA IRP FAST CTPAT PIP CVOR plateslicensing permits and otherrequirements
