Job Description :
As a MedicalReceptionist you will be the first point of contact for ourpatients and play a vital role in creating a positive and welcomingexperience.
You will ensure the smooth operation of our clinic andcontribute to the efficient delivery of highquality care.
Responsibilities :
- PatientInteraction : Greet and assist patients with a warm and professionaldemeanor providing information and answering questions about ourservices and processes.
- Scheduling : Managethe scheduling of patient appointments coordinating with theclinical team to ensure efficient and timely caredelivery.
- Registration and Documentation : Collect and verify patient information insurance details andmedical history accurately.
Ensure all required forms anddocumentation are completed.
CheckIn andCheckOut : Efficiently check patients in for their appointmentscollect payments and process insurance information.
Providereceipts and schedules for followup visits.
- Phone and Email Communication : Answer and direct phone callsrespond to patient emails and address inquiries and concernseffectively and professionally.
- RecordKeeping : Maintain organized patient records and ensure they complywith all relevant regulations. File update and retrieve records asneeded.
- Insurance Coordination : Verifypatient insurance coverage and assist in obtaining any necessaryauthorizations or referrals.
- Office Support : Assist with general office tasks such as data entry maintainingoffice supplies and keeping the reception area tidy and welcoming.
Qualifications :
- High school diplomaor equivalent (additional education or certification in healthcareadministration is a plus).
- Previousexperience in a medical or healthcare receptionist role ispreferred.
- Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills with an emphasis on professionalism andempathy.
- Exceptional organizational andmultitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in usingcomputer software including electronic health record (EHR) systemsand Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of medicalterminology and insurance procedures is advantageous.
