Job description

We are seeking an administrative assistant for our client in the Oakville area. As an Administrative Assistant you will work closely with the other staff to facilitate day-to-day full cycle accounting including accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Posting of receivables and payables into QuickBooks.
  • Bank statements reconciliations, credit card statements reconciliation, and vendor statements reconciliations.
  • Assist with incoming phone calls during peak periods, vacations and or absences. Manage incoming calls to facility, answering questions and / or directing them to the appropriate team member.
  • Assist with maintaining filing systems.
  • Collect data and prepare monthly reports.
  • Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Various administrative functions as required.
  • Monitor incoming centralized email queue (client portal) including providing a response and distribution to appropriate team member.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working in an administrative position
  • 1+ years experience in Quickbooks required.
  • Strong computer skills, able to learn new programs with ease
  • Strong administrative and clerical skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to adapt in a changing environment
  • Able to work in constantly changing environment and prioritize tasks

Experience :

Administrative Assistant : 1 + Years Required

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule :

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education :

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Ability to Relocate :

Oakville, ON : Relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location : In person
