Our client, a major legal firm, is looking to hire a Legal Assistant in labour and employment law for the downtown Montreal office.

Responsibilities
- Draft documents, letters, e-mails and notes for clients or lawyers;
- Keep lawyers' diaries, including coordinating appointments;
- Open, file on paper and electronically, monitor and organize files;
- Organize and coordinate meetings between lawyers and clients;
- Follow-up on deadlines and files;
- Prepare binders of procedures, exhibits and authorities;
Qualifications
- Diploma in legal secretarial work an asset;
- 2 / 3 years minimum experience in a similar position;
- Bilingualism, both written and spoken (French / English);
- Knowledge and understanding of labor law and / or litigation mandatory;
- Excellent customer communication skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to follow instructions with little supervision and initiative;
- Knowledge of MS Office suite;
- Techno-friendly;
