Alteo is looking for a Financial Controller for a permanent position based in Montreal.

Hybrid : office + telecommuting

Reporting to the Vice-President Finance and Administration, the Corporate Financial Controller is responsible for the financial, administrative and technological management of the company and its subsidiaries.

He / she contributes to the achievement of organizational objectives identified in strategic planning. He / she acts as a leader and vision-bearer for the accounting, credit and information technology teams.

Responsibilities :

  • Plan, direct and coordinate all operational functions relating to the accounting of Group companies.
  • Coordinate and prepare financial statements
  • Ensure accuracy of financial data and adherence to deadlines for the entire accounting cycle
  • Carry out monthly analysis of results and report observations to the executives of the companies concerned
  • Ensure the presence of adequate internal controls at each site
  • Monitor financial targets and prepare forecasts (cash flow and income statements)
  • Responsible for supervising and developing the accounting teams at each site
  • Coordinate the activities of external auditors
  • Hire, direct and / or coach employees under his / her supervision and promote collaborative practices. Provide feedback and, if necessary, provide guidance.
  • For his / her team, plan the human resources required to implement the company's vision.
  • Ensure the development of team members. Offer training adapted to the needs of professionals
  • Maintain a healthy work environment. Prevent, identify and resolve conflicts in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure regular communications within the team, facilitating the circulation and sharing of information.
  • Plan and lead team meetings. Ensure rigorous follow-up of points raised during meetings.

Profile :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Professional designation (CPA) would be an asset
  • 5-8 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in team management
  • Experience of working in a SME in the manufacturing sector
  • Experience in project management
  • Excellent command of Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), ERP software and office automation tools
  • Good computer skills

Alteo est à la recherche d'un Contrôleur financier pour un emploi permanent basé à Montréal.

Hybride : bureau + télétravail

Sous l’autorité du Vice-Président Finances et Administration, le Contrôleur financier corporatif assure la gestion financière, administrative et technologique de la compagnie et ses filiales.

Il contribue à l’atteinte des objectifs organisationnels identifiés dans la planification stratégique. Il agit à titre de leader et de porteur de vision auprès des équipes de la comptabilité, du crédit et des technologies de l’information.

Responsabilités :

  • Planifier, diriger et coordonner toutes les fonctions opérationnelles relatives à la comptabilité des sociétés du Groupe
  • Coordonner et préparer les états financiers
  • Assurer l’exactitude des données financières et du respect des échéanciers pour l’exécution du cycle comptable complet
  • Faire l’analyse mensuels des résultats et rapporter ses observations aux exécutifs des sociétés concernées
  • S’assurer de la présence d’un contrôle interne adéquat dans chacun des sites
  • Suivi des objectifs financiers et préparation de Forecast (trésorerie et états des résultats)
  • Responsable de la supervision et du développement des équipes comptables de chacun des sites
  • Coordonner les activités des vérificateurs externes
  • Embaucher, diriger et / ou encadrer les employés sous sa gouverne et favoriser la mise en place de pratiques collaboratives.

Donner de la rétroaction et, au besoin, faire des recadrages

  • Pour son équipe, planifier les besoins des ressources humaines nécessaires à la mise en œuvre de la vision de l’entreprise
  • Veiller au développement des membres de l’équipe. Offrir une formation adaptée aux besoins des professionnels
  • Maintenir un climat de travail sain. Prévenir, identifier et résoudre les conflits dans les opérations courantes
  • Assurer les communications régulières au sein de l’équipe, en facilitant la circulation et le partage de l’information
  • Planifier et animer des rencontres d’équipe. Assurer un suivi rigoureux des points soulevés lors des rencontres

Profil :

  • BAC en comptabilité
  • Titre professionnel (CPA) serait un atout
  • 5-8 années d’expérience dans un rôle similaire
  • Expérience en gestion d’une équipe de travail
  • Expérience de travail au sein d’une PME dans le secteur manufacturier
  • Expérience en gestion de projets
  • Excellente maîtrise de la Suite Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), logiciel ERP et des outils de bureautique
  • Bonnes connaissances en informatique
  • Excellentes connaissances des principes comptables et financiers, et des contrôles internes
  • Habilité à analyser les données financières pour en extraire les éléments clés à la prise de décision
