Position : Classroom Teacher
FTE : 1.0FTE
Grade : Social Studies 8 / 9 and English 8
Status : Temporary to June 30, 2025 or until the return of the incumbent
Start Date : as soon as possible
Qualifications :
Bachelor of Education and / or PDP
Bachelor’s degree - English or History, major
Recent successful experience teaching English and Social Studies at the middle or secondary school level
To provide instruction in the following :
Social Studies 9 (1 block)
Humanities 8 (6 blocks)
Socials 8 (3 Blocks)
English 8 (3 Blocks)

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $57,972-$106,217, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
