Description de poste

Position Description: The Senior Technical Lead leads and contributes to hands-on engineering delivery, turning business requirements into secure, resilient cloud services and AI-enabled solutions. The role owns technical execution from solution design and coding through testing, deployment and production readiness. Working with business analysts, product owners, engineering and platform teams, this lead guides implementation across application integration, business workflows and modernization. The successful candidate remains actively involved in coding, code reviews, troubleshooting and mentoring. This role is part of an AI-first software engineering organization where Artificial Intelligence is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle. Candidates must demonstrate practical experience leveraging AI to improve productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes using modern AI-assisted development practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to the technical delivery for a squad or workstream; break requirements into implementable designs, delivery tasks, and testable acceptance criteria, and resolve technical dependencies.
  • Write and review production code, build prototypes to resolve uncertainty, mentor engineers and troubleshoot complex issues across services, data, and cloud environments.
  • Design and implement APIs, microservices, messaging and event-driven integrations, including interoperability with legacy enterprise platforms.
  • Apply AI-assisted engineering across requirements, design, coding, testing, documentation, and code review using Breakthrough Method of Agile AI-driven Development (BMAD) or comparable practices, with traceability from specifications to code and tests.
  • Develop repeatable cloud environments and deployment pipelines using containers, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automated testing, security scanning, and controlled releases.
  • Implement business rules and durable workflows covering state transitions, timers, retries, exceptions, and recovery, working with process specialists where needed.
  • Support migration and onboarding delivery through data mapping, synchronization, reconciliation, coexistence, and rehearsed cutover and rollback procedures.
  • Define and automate service and AI quality checks, including integration, performance, groundedness, and tool-call evaluation; monitor failures, latency and model usage costs.
  • Own production readiness for the workstream, including observability, runbooks, release validation, recovery testing, and operational handover.
  • Document technical decisions and trade-offs; coordinate with architecture and security leads and improve delivery using evidence on lead time, defects, and operational reliability.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • 8+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, including 3+ years leading hands-on technical delivery and mentoring engineers.
  • Strong current coding and code-review capability in Java, with experience building production APIs, automated tests, and maintainable services.
  • Demonstrated delivery of enterprise applications using microservices, distributed systems, API integration, messaging, and event-driven patterns.
  • Hands-on cloud application delivery experience, with Microsoft Azure preferred, including containers, Kubernetes or OpenShift, identity, networking, secrets, and observability.
  • Practical DevSecOps experience with Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated quality and security gates, and deployment and rollback controls.
  • Demonstrated AI SDLC experience using AI coding assistants or engineering agents, validating generated outputs, and showing improvements in delivery quality or productivity.
  • Experience with BMAD or a comparable AI-native or specification-driven delivery approach, including requirements-to-code and test traceability.
  • Understanding of AI security and operational risks, including prompt injection, tool misuse, data leakage, unreliable outputs, and controls for human oversight.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical flows and delivering workflow orchestration, legacy integration, or application and data migration.
  • Ability to explain design trade-offs, work across business and technical teams, and take responsibility for secure, supportable delivery in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Telecommunications experience.
  • Depth in one or more areas: migration and cutover; Temporal or comparable durable orchestration; cloud platform engineering; or complex enterprise solution delivery.
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot, Kafka, XML interfaces, or legacy telecommunications protocols.
  • Experience with Azure AI services, enterprise search, vector retrieval, agent orchestration frameworks, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) for secure tool integration.
  • Experience with GitLab, Terraform or Ansible, Argo CD, artifact repositories, SonarQube, or equivalent engineering tools.
  • Experience with AI evaluation and tracing, model and prompt versioning, and inference cost optimization; relevant cloud, Kubernetes, or AI certifications are an asset.
