What The Role Looks Like

As a CloudOps Engineer at FlexPay, you'll play a crucial role in the implementation and optimization of our technical infrastructure.

You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain automated systems that enhance our development and deployment pipelines.

A day in the life of this position includes

• Designing, deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security and scalability
• Allocating and managing cloud resources to meet the needs of applications and services
• Defining and implementing infrastructure configurations and manage changes to maintain consistency
• Developing and implementing automation tools to streamline and simplify repetitive tasks
• Setting up and maintaining monitoring tools to track the performance, availability and security of cloud services
• Troubleshooting and resolving incidents, collaborating with development and IT teams to minimize downtime and maintain service quality
• Planning, implementing, managing, and optimizing Kubernetes clusters to ensure efficient resource utilization and high availability.
• Developing and enhancing CI / CD pipelines to automate application deployment, testing, and monitoring, ensuring a performant, smooth, and reliable deployment process
• Evangelizing the DevOps principles and mindset by empowering and training team members
• Collaborating with the security and privacy teams to create and implement plans to mitigate privacy, security, and governance risks

Who We’re Looking For

You have a solid technical background, practical experience in implementing DevOps methodologies, and a passion for optimizing systems through automation and innovation.

Your ability to collaborate, adapt, and solve complex problems in a dynamic environment is pivotal for success in this role.

What We’re Looking For

A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in a CloudOps or infrastructure-related role, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, Azure, .

NET, Python, and ML model deployment.

• Kubernetes Mastery : Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes administration, including cluster setup, management, optimization, and monitoring.
• Monitoring Proficiency : Proven experience with Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, or other observability and monitoring platforms.
• DevOps Tools : Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI / CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and configuration management tools (e.

g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)

• Scripting and Automation : Proficiency in TypeScript scripting languages, and experience with infrastructure as code tools.
• CI / CD Tools : Strong knowledge of CI / CD tools and practices, with a focus on optimizing for DORA metrics.
• Azure Cloud Experience
