Position Overview :
I'm seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic, hardworking and fun individual for the role of an Insurance Account Manager in our locally owned Desjardins Insurance Agency.
We are a full-service agency specializing in Car, Home, Commercial and Life Insurance along with Car Financing. We are growing out team through this addition, as such, this role will require the right candidate to demonstrate a desire to achieve uncapped compensation through a combination of salary and unlimited commission structure by bringing your "grow a business, within the business" mentality.
You also demonstrate the ability to nurture and grow relationships with clients. If you speak a second language, awesome!
The right individual with the right attitude is critical. Being comfortable in speaking to people and having experience with prospecting for new business will set you apart from other candidates.
We will provide the training and development necessary to be successful while also sponsoring you for the required regulatory licensing needed.
You can have confidence that the current team of 5 will be fully vested in your success through on-going training, development and collaboration.

Earning Potential :
$45,000 (or commensurate with experience) + uncapped commissions
Responsibilities :
- Prospect and find new client leads, schedule appointments, and present appropriate products and service solutions
- Leverage product and sales process training to build your desired income earning potential
- Provide prompt, accurate, and extraordinary client experience
- A typical day may include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, coverages, policy changes, transfers, prospecting for new business
- Working alongside the team and Agent / Owner in growing the business while developing yourself for advancement in the business
- Be excited about the opportunity to learn and develop yourself in an exciting career
Requirements :
- Previous sales experience would be considered an asset (outside / inside sales, retail sales, telemarketing)
- Comfortable speaking to, and finding new clients (prospecting)
- Be motiviated through the achievement of your own success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Social Media tools and willing / comfortable using them to interact with clients
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to obtain your Property & Casualty and Life Insurance licenses (we will pay for and support you in obtaining theseif not already licensed)
