Required Experience and Key Skillset for this RoleMinimum 5+ years relevant experience with Enterprise Solutions Architect roles and functions.

Specialized Knowledge / Experience : Previous Enterprise Solutions Architecture experience or Extensive experience in Software Application Development and / or Engineering.

Experience in a large, complex organization ideally in the financial sector Role / Profile Description : The Solutions Architect will be performing the major functions listed below.

The position may require additional duties / responsibilities that may not be outlined below, and specific functions are subject to change.

Must be an expert in the product or platform team, accountable for the overall solution design quality and persistence of alignment.

Applied experience in Defining and maintaining the solution architecture and detailed solution design and ensuring the as-built state is in alignment with the design and meets the operational requirements.

Ensures solution architectures and designs are in alignment with enterprise and portfolio architecture directions and organizational standards.

Leads any design documentation, and continuous design improvement and seeks guidance from Portfolio Architectures and Engineering and Operations on architecturally significant decisions.

Depending on the solution design needs of the Product, the Solutions Architect may or may not be dedicated to a Product Team or be shared amongst multiple Product Teams.

May be called upon to help resolve production problems. Ensures quality designs and implementationsAccountable for design and technical quality of the solution measured by demonstrated attainment of service levels and # of incidents.

Develops and maintains the solution architecture and detailed solution design views for one or more products.Accountable for soliciting and documenting the operational requirements and obtaining sign-off from the Product Owner / Sponsor.

Ensures system usability is considered, both from a human factors point of view and as it impacts system engineeringFine-tune models and designs to account for technical realities that are revealed during implementationParticipates in design and code walkthroughsSupports the transition to productionHelps resolve operational issues (incidents and problems)Local Architecture GovernanceEnsures the implemented product / solution meets the operational requirements and is in alignment with enterprise and portfolio architecture directions, and the organization’s policies and standards, or proposes and obtains variance.

Escalates architecturally significant decisions to the Portfolio ArchitectureTeamwork & CollaborationWorks closely with other members of the product / project team to ensure a balanced solution considering all perspectivesProvides input to the creation of the project management deliverables, including project charter, risk assessment, project schedule, and work breakdown statementRemains informed about all significant technical aspects, activities, and associated business and technical impacts.

Work with LOB and Architecture leads to a balanced need for purity with delivery pressuresLeadershipLead prototyping activitiesContributes to the development and selection of systems architecture practices, tools, techniques, and standardsProactively identify & raise requirements for new / amended IT processes, best practices, and standardsMember of the product leadership teamTakes direct ownership of the most significant technology and design issuesActs as the focal point for significant infrastructure and development issues throughout all phases of the project and product lifecyclesMentors / educates others in the organization How to Apply : Please email me your up-to-date Resume / CV at Sriram.
