Title : Quality Care Liaison, Vancouver Coastal Region

Salary : $70,677 - $88,399 - $97,239 (pay range explained below)

Contract : Term until March 2024

Hours : Monday Friday (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)

Location : Park Royal, West Vancouver

About the role

Are you passionate about making a profound impact on the lives of self-identifying First Nations individuals in the enchanting Vancouver Coastal Region?

If you're up for a thrilling role that combines cultural expertise, compassion, and a dash of magic, keep reading!

As the Quality Care Liaison, you'll lead with culturally unique support, coordinating feedback across a wide range, including acute care, residential services, mental health, public health, home health services, and community systems.

You'll pioneer the FNHA approach, transforming complaints, and shaping the future of client / patient care.

About you

To excel in this role, you should possess a university degree in social sciences, health, or a related field. Furthermore, you'll need a solid 5-7 years of recent, pertinent experience working with First Nations organizations and communities, preferably in the Vancouver Coastal Region.

Additional qualifications such as training in patient safety investigation and quality improvement, along with cultural safety or trauma-informed care training, are highly beneficial.

Your experience should also demonstrate your ability to handle First Nations patient and family interactions with cultural sensitivity, humility, and an emphasis on respect, compassion, and empathy.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred, or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021.

We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
