Competitive hourly wage ($35 $41 / hour).

4x 10-hour shifts, allowing for a long weekend every week. Mon - Thurs, 6am to 4 : 30pm

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing :

Read and interpret P&ID (piping and instrumentation drawings) and GA’s (general assembly) drawings to assemble process piping systems.

Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems according to specifications.

Thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systems. Perform hydrostatic or pneumatic testing to ensure system integrity.

Custom threading and occasional assistance in building skids.

Demonstrate adaptability, punctuality, and willingness to communicate effectively with fellow fitters to optimize job performance.

Receive and implement feedback constructively, striving for continuous improvement. Work diligently and efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

What you bring :

Journeyman Pipefitter ticket preferred but not mandatory. Experienced in working with non-standard pipefitting.

Proven experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial setting, and the ability to work on non-standard pipefitting (including custom straight spool, lateral, drop-outs, etc)

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of adaptability and punctuality. Hardworking attitude with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Own tooling required.
