Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will be pivotal in driving brand awareness, managing partnerships, and enhancing our presence across Canada.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, with a focus on PR, media relations, strategic partnerships, and social media activation.
This role will be on-site and our office is in Markham, ON.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Canadian media outlets and influencers.
- Develop and manage partnerships, including IP collaborations and co-branding campaigns, to drive brand growth.
- Collaborate with universities to develop and execute campus ambassador programs and other initiatives.
- Utilize social media platforms effectively to amplify offline activities and engage with the online community.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public relations, or other related field is preferred.
- 5 years of relevant marketing experience in e-commerce, consumer goods, apparel industry, and PR or marketing agency within Canadian market.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong proficiency in writing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their dynamics, able to leverage them for marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
