THE ROLE

Deville Technologies is currently offering an excellent career opportunity for a Corporate Controller. Under the supervision of the president and CEO.

The ideal candidate will have a background in high-end audit firms, with substantial experience as an Audit Manager. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and strategic financial planning to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency.

TOP JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting and Compliance :

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee the audit process.

Budgeting and Forecasting :

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and develop financial forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts.
  • Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed.

Internal Controls and Risk Management :

  • Design and implement robust internal control systems.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts.
  • Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed.

Strategic Financial Planning :

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior management on long-term financial planning.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and conduct financial due diligence.

Team Leadership and Development :

  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Keep the team updated on the latest accounting standards and best practices.

Operational Efficiency :

  • Streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure optimal liquidity.

  • BY 6 MONTHS You are preparing the Month-End financial information on a timely basis with regularityYou created an internal audit process to ensure data integrity and adherence to regulatory and stakeholder reportingYou have streamlined, in collaboration with key business stakeholders, the Procure-to-Pay business process
  • BY 12 MONTHS You have led your team to prepare the Year-End file throughout the Fiscal year.You have established a framework of accountability with your team that ensures they regularly meet their objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE :

  • CPA designation or equivalent, plus a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a CA role
  • 2 years + of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Experience with multi-company and intercompany
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel and Business Intelligence tools)
  • Excellent technical knowledge of accounting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
