Sr Business Analyst, Manufacturing Operations Management

POSITION SUMMARY

The MOM Senior Business Analyst will act as a liaison between the business stakeholders and the technical team, playing a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes and implementing MOM solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and quality.

This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, MOM / MES platforms, and business analysis methodologies.

The MOM Senior Business Analyst will lead projects, provide strategic insights, and ensure that MOM solutions align with the Company’s operational goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirement Gathering and Analysis : Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

Conduct detailed analyses of manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for MOM / MES improvement. Translate business needs into functional specifications for our solutions.

MOM / MES implementation : Lead the implementation and integration of systems within the manufacturing environment. Work closely with IT and OT teams to ensure seamless deployment of MOM / MES solutions.

Develop and execute test plans to ensure functionality and performance.

Continuous Improvement : Analyze MOM / MES performance and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies for continuous enhancement of MES functionalities.

Provide training and support to end-users to maximize system utilization.

Documentation and Reporting : Create detailed documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and project plans.

Generate regular reports on systems performance, project status, and improvement initiatives. Ensure all documentation is maintained and updated according to company standards.

Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment on MOM / MES initiatives.

Provide regular updates to management on project progress and MES performance.

Lead and participate in cross-functional project teams to drive MOM initiatives.Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, business administration, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in MOM / MES-related projects.
• Proven experience in the implementation and management of MOM / MES solutions in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and supply chain management.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in business analysis methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Programming skills such as SQL, Python, C# are an asset.
• Familiarity with MOM / MES platforms such as GE Plant Applications.

LANGUAGE

Bilingual (French and English).

Available to work on-call according to a pre-determined schedule to respond to emergency calls outsideregular hours and to travel occasionally to other sites based on project needs or requests for support.
