RoleEssentials :
- Overseethe firm s quality management policies and procedures ensuringcontinuous improvement and adherence to SOX and Bill 198regulations.
- Engagein compliance monitoring developing executivelevel communicationsto highlight findings and recommendimprovements.
- Actas a technical expert on assurance accounting matters andprofessional conduct standards ensuring alignment with CSQM1 andCSQM2requirements.
- Driveprofessional development and training including the creation anddelivery of internal educationalmaterials.
Requirements
WhatYou WillBring :
- ACanadian CPA designation with a strong preference for CA legacyholders.
- Over10 years of experience in public accounting with a deepunderstanding of Canadian auditing standards and accountingframeworks (IFRS ASPEASNPO).
- Demonstratedexperience in a quality control function within the accountingindustry.
- Proficientin advanced audit methods and willing to engage with our globalauditmethodology.
- Exceptionalcommunication skills capable of prioritizing tasks and managingmultipleprojects.
- Areadiness to travel within Northern and Western Canada asneeded.
