Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong Genesys Cloud knowledge to support a cloud-based customer experience environment. The successful candidate will provide technical input during the design phase, support deployment and configuration activities, and help ensure operational readiness of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Review design and technical documentation to identify potential operational impacts and issues.
• Provide input on platform architecture and design from an operational perspective.
• Support deployment and configuration activities.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to support platform reliability.
• Develop and support automation solutions and shell scripts.
• Work closely with development and program teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support knowledge transfer activities related to the platform.

Top Requirements

• Strong Genesys Cloud (Genesys CX) knowledge.
• Experience with deployment and configuration activities.
• Experience with automation.
• Experience applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Shell scripting experience.
• Strong cloud technology experience, particularly Azure.
• Ability to review design documentation and identify issues that could impact operational teams.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking up in meetings and proactively raising concerns.
• Ability to constructively challenge designs and identify potential issues.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
