What is the opportunity? As Senior Manager, Production Support, you will support the implementation and maintenance of key Financial Crimes initiatives and processes, with a focus of continually improving and enhancing processes and procedures.
You will work with various teams within the Financial Crimes area as well as across the Bank including development teams, production and maintenance support teams, business stakeholders and vendors.
This role provides an opportunity to apply project management, business analyst, compliance, and quality assurance role competencies and capabilities. What you will do?
- Work with Financial Crimes production staff, and AML IT Production support and Maintenance teams to resolve issues with Financial Crimes applications including case management and regulatory reporting application and processes
- Administer and maintain employee access requests for Financial Crimes applications
- Work with business stakeholders to create, validate and document business processes and procedure requirements and communicate to technology experts
- Look for opportunities to improve and enhance processes and procedures
- Work closely with AML IT teams to deliver Business Stakeholder requirements to resolve issues and implement enhancements and complete post-implementation verification
- Develop and maintain system process and procedure documents for Financial Crimes applications and processes, system specifications, and test plans, according to existing standards and methodologies.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure of tight deadlines, and manage multiple concurrent priorities
- Proven analytical skills and ability to coordinate, problem-solve, and make day-to-day decisions, understanding when to escalate
- Project management experience, specifically business analysis, including elicitation and coordinating enhancement release management for system support, fix deployment, and post-implementation verification (PIV)
- Awareness of different segments of the bank, including banking products, requirements and regulations
- Experience working in governance and compliance programs related to PCMLTFA and PIPEDA
Nice-to-have
- Over 5 years of experience in the Banking Industry working
- University Undergraduate and / or Graduate degree MBA
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designation
