The challenges that await you Reporting to the design division manager, you will perform various technical tasks involving the development and execution of civil engineering studies, as well as the creation of plans, drawings, graphics, and other visual representations using various software (geomatics, vector, etc.), specifications, and preliminary estimates.
You will specifically conduct drainage studies as well as preliminary designs for roadways, sewer networks, aqueducts, and other infrastructures located within the municipal right-of-way, with a view to the installation, rehabilitation, or replacement of municipal infrastructures.
You will also participate in measurement and surveying work, as well as in reviewing video surveys, to support the design or intervention decisions on the networks.
The ideal profile for us - Education acquired through a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering;
- Three (3) years of relevant experience in producing plans and specifications, quantity calculations, and cost estimation;
- Good knowledge of the Office suite;
- Good knowledge of geomatics tools AutoCAD and Civil 3D (advanced proficiency);
- Knowledge of ArcGIS, ArcMap, an asset;
- Possess a valid driver's license and a vehicle;
- Hold safety training for construction sites (ASP).
