Description
- Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs
- Interface with customers, products and sales support
- Working with the supervisor on various tasks
- Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
- Various related duties as required
Qualifications :
- Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Heavy Duty Technician
- Completion, or in the process of completing, Finning S-level courses
- Dedication to safety
- Team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Leadership skills and ability to effectively interact with customers
- Experience with SIS and warranty systems
Assets :
- Previous field service experience and familiarity with computers
- Understanding of the Caterpillar product line
- Engine and / or component rebuilding experience
- Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience
Note :
- Any future shift changes will be made in accordance with the collective agreement
- A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
