Project CoordinatorGolderado Contracting Corporation ("Golderado") supplies skilled labour for construction projects across Canada, primarily in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, supporting clients such as PME Inc., Silverado Site Services, and EllisDon Industrial.Key Information:Hours: Based on a 44-hour work week; however, overtime is required during the busy season.Short term contract: starting as soon as possible with an expected end date of November 15th, 2026.Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when needed.Project Location: PonokaSalary is dependent on experience.Health benefits, RRSP, pension plan and vacation offered.Job Description:Primarily focused on coordinating subcontractors, such as traffic control, paving, gravel etc.Set up and maintenance of the project administration. Complete daily activity reports.Procurement and assistance in costing/estimating.Scheduling and Quality control.Technical Reviews, Constructability and Conflicts. Generating technical submittals.Safety and Loss Control Program.Collaborate and coordinate with other internal and external teammates to complete project deliverables, including business and/or technical writing and preparing materials for presentations.Experience and Certification Requirements:Civil or Construction Engineering diploma or degree with 1-2 years of experience with civil construction or equivalent is required.Strong background in heavy civil earthworks, road building and underground utilities preferred.Travel is required - A valid drivers license is required.A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.Team player and excellent people skills.A reliable means of transportation is required.Proficient English language skills required.Education: Civil or Construction Engineering diploma or degree or equivalent.At Golderado, our work is driven by the people behind our projects.
