We are searching for reliable and detail-oriented receptionists with a min of 4 years of previous experience. Selected individuals must have above-average computer knowledge and excellent command of the English language.
Shift : Days 8 : 30 am to 5 pm
Pay : $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
Location : Derry and Argentia
- Greeting Guests
- Welcome guests, ensure they sign in, wear an appropriate visitor badge, inform employees of arrival & are escorted
- Ensure guests sign out so they can be accounted for correctly in the event of a fire evacuation
- Pick up & drop off mails come on time, are sorted for pick up / drop off, employees are notified & pick up packages (record package and sign off when
- picked up to ensure no lost packages)
- Make sure packages are stored in a safe & tidy manner in the mail closet
- Mailroom supplies & Neopost machine
- Check that the mail room has enough supplies (letterheads, folders, etc.) & supplies are sorted in a tidy manner, Neopost machine has enough funds, supplies
- Support employees with mail / courier inquiries
- REP Mail every two weeks
- Onboarding & Offboarding
- Ensure checklists are complete, name tags, access pass
- Create an account on Campus Ship for new employees and send a user guide
- Deactivate account upon employee departure
- UPS account to be updated accordingly (district and account alignments or when employees move departments)
- To maintain the UPS Corporate address book according to onboarding and off-boarding alerts
- Ensure photos are taken correctly for new hire access cards, and notify the Facilities Coordinator to process access passes in the system.
- Ensure new employees, NNI guests & contractors sign the security policy if they have access to the NNCI building
- Office supplies orders (Mailroom & Beverages)
- Managed office supply orders including 6 printing stations & 2 new coffee machines owned by NNCI
- Vendor management for beverage, supplies & coffee machine servicing
- Order office supplies from Grand & Toy
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must have 4+ years of previous Receptionist exp
