Open Systems Tech is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer for one of our financial services clients based out of Mississauga / ON.

Job Title : Senior Salesforce Developer
Location : Mississauga Hybrid 3 days / week
Term : Long term contract plus extension
Knowledge / Experience :
- 8+ years of experience in Software Development
- 4+ years of Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com, with strong proficiency in Apex programming, lightning web component, and SOQL, and in-depth understanding of SFDC profiles, roles, permission sets and Sharing Rules, validation rules, Tasks, Workflow rules, and Triggers, etc.
- At least 2 to 3 full Life Cycle Implementations
- Experience with SFDC administrative tools such as managing users, data management, generating reports, dashboards, and communication templates.
- Thorough understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Salesforce Deployment / Packaging effectively using Metadata API, Changeset and Ant.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders on gathering and documenting business requirements, and work as a partner
- Experience in developing, testing, and deploying custom fields / objects, forms, workflows, interfaces, records, and user roles to meet business requirements.
Required Skills :
- SFDC development and customization
- Apex programming, Visualforce, Lightning component development, Salesforce.com APIs, Apex Data loader and workbench
- Architect scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that adhere to best practices and design patterns.
- Implement complex business logic and workflows to automate processes and enhance user experience.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using REST / SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and custom integrations.
- Salesforce Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II are highly desirable.
Preferred skills / Experience :
- Experience in working with Financial Service Cloud
- Experience working on Data cloud, AI, and Hyperforce
- Able to work with team as well as independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience of using Visual Studio Code / Eclipse for development, Github / Bitbucket for Source code management and using ANT / ANT Migration tool for deployment will be preferred.
- Experience with other programming languages Java, Microsoft .Net, C#, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, JQuery, CSS is a plus.
