THE COLBOURNE INSTITUTE FOR INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP
The Colbourne Institute for Inclusive Leadership (CIIL) empowers Western Canadian organizations to develop and maintain equitable and inclusive environments. Driven by research and data, our focus is on providing support and training to organizations as well as conducting innovative research in the areas of inclusion.
We’re seeking a candidate with initiative and natural relationship building skills to manage two programs, and support with identifying opportunities for funding, new clients for the ongoing delivery and funding of these projects. Your keen eye for detail and research acumen will be put to good use as you prepare project proposals, budgets, and contracts for the college.
The two service delivery programs include a Supply Management Training Prior Learning and Assessment platform as well as a Virtual Reality Soft Skills training program for employers and job seekers. The VR program is designed to support employers better understand how to work with neurodivergent staff. The project lead will be responsible to supporting the marketing and recruitment of these two programs, managing outcomes, coordinating enrolment and delivering the services to clients, in partnership with our inclusion and accessibility leads.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
In partnership with the Institute Director, this position will :
Develop project implementation plans, monitor progress, and measure outcomes for the two projects.
Recruit participants, employers and businesses for both programs.
Work with clients to assess their pre-requisite requirement for the PLAR program.
Support the partnership lead in responding to requests for consultations and services that relate to the demand of the two programs.
Generate industry and government-funded contracts to continue supporting two programs.
Work with partners and stakeholders to develop projects and submit proposals for funding.
Perform quality assurance with clients and funders prior to, during, and after activities, or projects.
Effectively use NorQuest’s customer relationship management software to plan, track and close training activities with corporate customers.
Work with the Institute Director for the CIIL and internal stakeholders to identify new and prospective clients, as well as propose new opportunities for collaboration and innovation based on client interests.
Work with the rest of the CIIL team to cater services to the needs and demands of clients.
Identify and regularly attend community events that could generate sources of collaboration and future business growth.
Network with communities and identify project ideas that could be leveraged through grants and other funding streams.
Identify gaps within knowledge in the areas of Equity, diversity and inclusion and propose solutions that the CIIL can support.
WHAT YOU BRING
B.A in related field (Public Administration,Business, Education)
Training (either degree or certificate) in Equity,Diversityand inclusionrelated field.
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Be able to pay attention to detail and have strong writing and editing skills
Be self‑motivated and able to exercise a high level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning and discretion
Base knowledge of municipal and immigration policies.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other team members from other areas of expertise within the organizations

SALARY :
$3,147 - $3,932 bi‑weekly reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience.
