Pay, Hours & Perks :
- Rate of pay is $18.82 per hour plus vacation pay.
- EXCEL Group Leader positions are 5 days per week and require staff to be available 30 minutes prior to the end of the regular school day.
While the start time of the Before / After school shift varies from site to site, most Before school shifts begin at 7 : 30am.
Most After school shifts begin around 2pm.

Requirements :
- Must have a minimum of one year's experience working with elementary age students
- Knowledge of recreational programming
- Must possess strong communication skills
- Have ability to work as part of a team
- High School Completion Certificate or equivalent
Asset :
Possession of a valid First Aid / CPR Certification is considered an asset

Employment with the Halifax Regional Centre for Education is contingent upon providing a satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and a completed Child Abuse Registry Search prior to starting employment.
