Details : Requirements :

  • Must have a minimum of one year's experience in the child care field
  • Knowledge of recreational programming
  • Must possess strong communication skills
  • Have ability to work as part of a team
  • High School Completion Certificate or equivalent

Assets :

  • Possession of a valid First Aid / CPR Certification is considered an asset
  • Rate of pay is $18.28 per hour plus vacation pay.
  • The Group Leader will work in the after school program with the shift time of 1 : 55-6 : 00pm . Approximately 21.50 hours / week.

    • Children of EXCEL employees can attend the EXCEL program at no charge

    Various paid training opportunities available including High Five, First Aid / CPR, Non Violent Crisis Intervention, Fundamental Movement Skills, etc.

    Potential for additional hours
