This role has a focus on managing digital marketing and communications, including overseeing program websites, website redevelopment projects, and maintaining relevant and timely online content.

The Marketing Specialist will manage all social media channels, create engaging and creative content, and implement advertising campaigns.

The successful incumbent will work closely with and report to the Manager, Marketing Communications, Western Canada.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and manage recycling awareness campaigns and educational materials for various stakeholders.
• Oversee digital marketing and communications, including website management, social media channels, and advertising campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure brand consistency and successful campaign execution.
• Provide logistical support for events and manage relationships with partners and sponsors.

Requirements :

• 4-6 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related fields, agency experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and Google Analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a proactive approach and ability to work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.

Working Conditions :

• Occasional out-of-province travel may be required.
• Hybrid work environment with options for office-based or remote work.
