Our large Vancouver client in the Real Estate and Hospitality space is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to lead their growing team of 8 -10 AP Administrators. The AP Manager will manage all aspects of the A/P process, including vendor set up, management of weekly payment processes (Wire, ACH, EFT, cheques), help improve efficiencies by creating/implementing policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, The AP Manager will serve as the key point person for all internal and external stakeholders, prepare monthly, weekly, and yearly reports (AP aging and other KPIs as required) and take full responsibility for leading, mentoring, coaching the AP Team members.
Job Requirements:
The ideal Accounts Payable Manager will have 7 - 10+ years of hands on AP experience, 3 of which have been in a supervisory role leading a team of 4 or more. You have some accounting education (preferably a Bachelors, Diploma or Certificate in Accounting) as well as experience using an ERP system and you must have Intermediate level MS Excel skills (pivot tables and v-lookups).
