Position : Technical Business Systems Analyst
Location : Toronto preferred for some onsite work, but predominantly remote
Duration : 6 Months (extendable)
Overview : We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gathering, refining, and documenting both business and technical requirements.
Additionally, the candidate should be capable of assisting the team in prioritizing tasks from both business and technical perspectives, understanding dependencies, and assessing value.
Responsibilities :
- Engage with business and IT stakeholders to extract, refine, and document requirements.
- Understand and articulate both business and technical requirements effectively.
- Assist the team in prioritizing tasks, considering dependencies, value, and other relevant factors.
- Ideally, the candidate would contribute to the team as a Scrum Master, organizing cross-functional teams and ensuring adherence to agile processes and ceremonies.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA and Confluence to organize and track work.
- Set up and execute projects using agile methodologies.
- Identify and mitigate risks, seeking guidance from client leadership when necessary.
- Identify and resolve issues, collaborating with client leadership as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical business analysis role.
- Strong understanding of both business and technical requirements.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage dependencies effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is a plus.
