Social Media Volunteer
Join our dynamic non-profit organization based in Montreal, dedicated to integrating art and science! We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Volunteer to help us amplify our online presence and engage with our community.
As a Social Media Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.
Eligibility :
- Passion for art-science integration and a commitment to our organization's mission.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Availability for up to 5 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
- Comfortable with remote work and communication tools.
Requirements
- Excellent written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is preferred.
- Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic graphic design principles and experience using design software like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.
- Willingness to collaborate with team members and contribute creative ideas for content creation and engagement strategies.
- Commitment to adhere to our organization's values and code of conduct.
- Willingness to work on an unpaid volunteer basis with the potential for future paid opportunities or contracted roles within the organization based on performance and availability.
