Company is a pioneering company in the development and sales of UV cameras tailored for the electric utility market. The company is at the forefront of technology, dedicated to providing innovative solutions that enhance the safety and efficiency of the electrical industry mid and high voltage solutions.
Position Overview :
As a Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth. Your primary objective is to deliver tangible value to our customers, ensuring their long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
You will be instrumental in devising, demonstrating, and executing strategic sales plans to expand our market presence and secure business from competitors.
We are seeking an experienced individual who excels in managing and empowering sales representatives and their teams with experience with the power utility domain, rotating machine, EV industry supporting medium and high voltage solutions, from the manufacturer, operators and after sales / service center arena.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Director will :
- Customer Base Management : Foster the growth and retention of our customer base, providing guidance and mentorship to sales representatives in your assigned territory.
- Customer Relationships : Cultivate strong and direct relationships with key customer stakeholders, spanning senior and mid-management levels.
Strategically identify and resolve customer issues while championing the Company’s products and values.
- Account Growth : Drive the expansion of new accounts and ensure the ongoing satisfaction of existing accounts.
- Collaboration : Collaborate closely with the Growth / Corporate Accounts Team to execute targeted sales campaigns for new businesses.
- Training and Coaching : Train and coach business customers and partners in your assigned territory on their responsibilities.
- Exhibitions : Participate in industry exhibitions to highlight Company's products and services.
- Value Proposition : Articulate, present, and sell the value of Company's products and services to meet customer needs effectively.
- Training : Conduct necessary training for operating personnel to ensure their understanding of equipment parameters.
- Demo perform technical demo to different customers.
- Profitability : Ensure the profitability of accounts within your assigned territory through sound pricing and contract management practices.
Skills and Abilities
- Self-motivated individual with a hunter mentality; taking ownership of all Presales to sell activities.
- Develop strategies to achieve the goals set in the business area.
- Creating and retaining positive ongoing relationships with the Business partner and customers.
- Experience in selling to high voltage industries, focusing on power utilities - T&D, Rotating Machines, electric motors, HVDC, etc.
- Providing professional demos, training, and mentoring for business partners and end users within the different segments.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through presentations, commercial proposal, exhibitions and more.
- Significant working experience within Mid and High Voltage Power, with a valid network of C-Level teams.
- Must be educated to a degree level or equivalent, with a technical qualification or experience in electrical engineering.
- Strong negotiation skills are a must have.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Ability to facilitate effective interactions within the organization and with external partners and customers.
Requirements :

- 3+ years of sales leadership experience is required
- 5+ years of experience in sales is required
- 3-5 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in Canada or U.S. is required
