Our client, a prominent commercial real estate firm, is looking to hire a Commercial Project Manager for their office in Surrey.
About the Role
Under the supervision of the Director of Property, the Commercial Project Manager will oversee and manage tenant leasehold improvements and building capital projects for properties located in the Lower Mainland, the US, and Edmonton.
What You Bring
To be successful in this position, you should have a university degree or college diploma in a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, particularly in managing commercial, industrial, and base building construction and renovation projects.
You must be able to read, interpret, and understand drawings and specifications, and possess strong negotiation skills. A solid understanding of building codes and contract law / practices is essential.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and proactive problem-solving skills are required.
You should also demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and Excel is essential, along with a strong understanding of AutoCAD. Flexibility to travel to the Lower Mainland, US, and Edmonton is a must.
The Offer
This position offers a competitive salary range from $85,000 to $115,000, along with comprehensive benefits, vacation, and more.
