Senior Administrative Assistant Intertek is searching for a Senior Administrative Assistant to join the HR team in our Montreal, Quebec office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in HR! The Senior Administrative Assistant is responsible for :

  • Support the collection and filing of new hire documentation
  • Provide front line HR and Payroll support for current and potential employees
  • Assist the team with the recruitment and selection process
  • Process background checks and inform managers of status
  • Follow-up with employees who have work permits to ensure validity
  • Preparing reports including ad-hoc reports
  • Complete data entry on respective system
  • Working with Accounts Payable to ensure payments are processed
  • Remittance of information to third party providers
  • Assisting employees to access platforms
  • Overseeing the Service Award process
  • Mailing, scanning and filing of mail
  • Other administrative tasks and / or projects as assigned What it takes to be successful in this role :
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 2 years working as an Administrative Assistant
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and deal with constant interruption
  • Strong ability to build and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships and be an effective team player.
  • Proven ability to prioritize duties / projects, multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment with constant demands.
  • Detailed oriented and great communication skills
