Job Summary

We areseeking a Petroleum Economics Specialist to join This CompanysUpstream Development Strategy & Reserves Department(UDS&RD) which is based in Dhahran Saudi Arabia and manages oneof the worlds largest portfolios of onshore and offshore oil andgas fields.

UDS&RD provides highlevel technical support acrossthe full range of hydrocarbon exploration and production activitiesincluding economic optimization of the entire resource portfolio;

as well as opportunities to conduct pioneering studies introducenew technologies and propose innovative developmentsolutions.

The Petroleum Economics Specialistwill lead the conceptualization of oil and gas field developmentsand their commerciality assessments focusing on longterm reservoirdevelopment depletion planning and economic evaluations.

Thisincludes holistic corporate modeling and decision analysis tosupport field development plan concepts portfolio capacitymanagement and related technoeconomic studies.

Responsibilities :

• Provides expert advice and assistance onoperating problems.
• Specifies design criteriaand relevant operating parameters for the development of new oiland gas projects.
• Participates in projecttechnical reviews and assesses proposals for new or modifiedoperating procedures to ensure operations are efficient andeconomical.
• Conducts economic studies and costanalyses to evaluate alternative courses of action.
• Offers guidance on upstream investmentopportunities.
• Performs impairment assessmentson upstream assets.
• Manages field portfolioand ranks projects.
• Leads the development andupdates of guidelines for upstream economics evaluation.
• Develops lesssenior staff by designing implementing andoverseeing professional development programs.
• Represents the company in external technical conferencessymposiums and forums.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Holds a BS in PetroleumEngineering or related disciplines; advanced degrees in BusinessPetroleum Economics Finance or related fields are highlybeneficial.
• Possesses 15 years of experiencegained through reputable oil and gas consulting and / or E&Pcompanies specializing in PE technical disciplines such asReservoir Characterization Petroleum Development ArchitectureBusiness Development Planning Reservoir Surveillance &Monitoring Reserves Assessment and Economic Evaluations.
• Demonstrates strong familiarity with geology / geophysicspetrophysics drilling operations completion methods artificial liftwell testing flow assurance production operations surfacefacilities design and cost estimation.
• Hasexperience working in a large organization with a varied portfolioof reservoirs or a broad range of experience in smallercompanies.
• Expertise in oil and gas reservoirdevelopment and depletion plans.
• Proficient ininvestment decision analysis (including risk and uncertainty)strategic longterm production plans and portfolioanalysis.
• Extensive experience in presentingto executive management and large audiences.
