Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to create procedural learning and development materials
Candidates can be % remote in Canada (Working MST Hours). 37.5 hour work week.
Must haves :
- 10+ years of experience as a T echnical Writer preparing training materials andwriting procedural documents for technical and non technical audiences
- 10+ years of experienceapplying adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design
- 10+ years of facilitation skills to communicate effectively with technical subject matter experts in determining business needs
Nice to haves :
- Experience with SAP Ariba (or ERP system documents).
- Experience with Supply Management teams
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities :
- Analyze and interpret procurement policies to develop training outlines.
- Write clear and instructional content for various training formats, including online modules, guides, and presentations.
- Revise and update existing documentation to reflect changes in procurement regulations and best practices.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy.
- Incorporate feedback from training sessions to improve materials.
