Family Assistant-Nanny-Housekeeper in North Vancouver, BC - #1931

Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Family Assistant to be the extension of the parents in the household. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks to help maintain a smooth and organized household, as well as providing an extra pair of hands to the parents in her daily activities.

This is a dynamic role with no routine that requires a proactive approach, to be flexible with working hours, attention to detail, and a strong ability to multitask.

Our client is flexible to offer a part-time or full-time work schedule depending on the candidate's preference.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting the parents

• Providing support in daily activities.
• Assisting with childcare as needed, including supervising and engaging in activities (children are 1 and 7 years old).

General Household Duties

• Conducting regular light cleaning of the house, including dusting and organizing.
• Managing laundry and ironing, ensuring all household linens and clothing are cared for appropriately.
• Work as a team with the private chef to set the table, provide table service and clean up.

Additional Responsibilities

Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Family Assistant, versatile Nanny, or in a similar role within a private household.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as well independently and in a team, and take initiative.
• A high level of discretion and confidentiality.
• Must have experience with children.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.

Benefits & Compensation

• Compensation : Competitive, commensurate with experience.
• Firm schedule : Saturday and Sunday, 7 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 30 p.m. with possibility of week days.
