Our valued public sector client requires the services of a Reliability cleared Senior (8+ years) Business Analyst to assist with identification of technical requirements for MyGCPay and AI applications.
Background :
The Pay Solutions Branch (PSB) was put into place in March of , which consists of merged teams from CIOB and ISB. While the initial structure reflected previous operational requirements, the management team has evaluated its needs against its mandate and are now moving towards structuring the teams towards the future operational needs.
The branch is now comprised of 3 sectors; P&SS, EPM and HR to Pay Operations. The Enterprise Project Management sectors support, as part of the Integrated HR-to-Pay team, plays an integral part in the efforts to advance the digital solutions for the HR and Pay systems of the GoC by providing value added IM / IT functions, services and solutions.
The stabilization of the pay services and system became the number one priority of the department.
To this end, Enterprise Project Management is leading the MyGCPay project. MyGCPay is a program consisting of a web based application that provides employees with a single window to view their pay and benefits.
The project is divided in 4 Work Streams : Communications and Change Management - Product Enhancements - Maintenance - Research and Development
Responsibilities :
This resource will be required to lead the delivery of strategy in support of the CTO management, the development of key performance indicators as well as a strengthening the delivery of CTO services to clients.
The resource will work with stakeholders to identify and present to management various quick win options for technology modernization, how it aligns to a common department-wide IM / IT strategy to ensure it is a sustainable approach.
- The resource will be responsible for identifying technical requirements for MyGCPay application and will be asked to provide the same support for the AI applications as well
- Plan, manage, monitor and provide visibility via consolidated reporting of the progress, outcomes and risks related to the MyGCPay and AI IT projects to assist in timely decision making
- Review business requirements and translate them into functional requirements for development options
Must haves :
- Enhanced reliability clearance
- 5 years experience - evaluating application software solutions
- 5 years experience - defining components of systems and the relationships between them
- 5 years experience - analyzing functional requirements to identify information and procedures and decision flows.
- University degree OR College diploma
Nice to haves :
- Federal government experience
