New West Sports Medicine Centre, located in New Westminster BC, is looking for a Sports Medicine Physician to join us following the retirement of Dr.
Carl Shearer. Our centre was established in 1991, and has provided excellence in Sports Medicine, Orthopaedics and Physiotherapy to the greater Vancouver community ever since.
We are located in an historic building near the Royal Columbian Hospital and the active medical community that surrounds it.
The centre is easily accessed by clients and staff as there is bus service to our driveway, and ample free parking. New Westminster is conveniently located in Metro Vancouver and provides quick access from many of the surrounding communities including Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey and Maple Ridge.
A successful candidate will benefit from moving into an established practice with a local referral base and demand built up by Dr.
Shearer. Our medical office space is shared with Dr. Robert McCormack who offers a wealth of knowledge and experience. There is also the opportunity to become the head physician for varsity athletics at both the university and college level.
At the New West Sports Medicine Centre we have a long history of providing excellence in care to our clients who include professional and Olympic level athletes.
We have worked closely with the B.C. Lions, Vancouver Whitecaps, national team members in soccer, gymnastics and curling to name a few.
We also provide the same level of care to our local community members, recreational athletes and weekend warriors.
This is an opportunity to establish a vibrant sports medicine practice, get involved with the British Columbian athletics scene, and live an active west coast lifestyle.
