JobSummary

Our client is seeking anRF and Analog Design Engineer to contribute to the development ofmultitens of GHz Transimpedance amplifiers TIAs.

As a member of thedesign group the candidate will be responsible for design andvalidation of FET and BiCMOS circuits for highspeed broadband ICsthat serve theseapplications.

Responsibilities

Inthis role you will be responsiblefor :

• Active circuit design as well astechnical leadership.
• Designing leading edgetransimpedance amplifier design primarily in Silicon Germanium(SiGe) BiCMOS (Bipolar Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)technology where circuit performance will need to transcend beyondindustry leading products.
• Developingtransmission line structures and other millimeter wave structuresto enable higher performance than would normally beachievable.
• Design of hiperformance broadbandanalog circuits for optical frontendreceivers.
• Design of various other analogcircuits including linear regulators AGC loop current / voltagesensors bandgaps etc.
• Developingmicroarchitecture of major circuit blocks and guide team ofdesigners to implement them. Work with various technologiesincluding SiGe BiCMOS and CMOS.
• Working withother functional groups to facilitate postsilicon validationqualification transition to mass production and customersupport.

Qualifications&Experience

• Bachelorsdegree in Electrical Engineering in the areas of design ofhighperformance RF / Analog Receiver / TIAdesign and 10 15 years experience
• Or MSc EE Or PhD EE with 5 years of experiencein the areas of design of highperformance RF / AnalogReceiver / TIAdesign .
• Provenexperience in IC design including chip tapeout AND lab evaluationof receiver design working in theindustry).
• Solid experiencein.
• Using EDA CADtools
• Performing Analog CustomLayout
• Experience inmeasuring IC performance and debug of design to correlatesimulations to measurements
• Deep understandingof fundamentals including :
• Detailedtransistor level design
• Devicephysics
• Control / Feedback loop stabilityanalysis
• Direct projectexperience in at least one of the following areas is aplus :
• AGC loopdesign
• High precision analog circuits(Including linear regulators current sensors bandgaps andDAC / ADC)
• Experience in CTLEdesign
• Experience inPackageSystem integration issuesdesired
• Project experience in using differenttechnologies. (SiGe BiCMOS is a plus)
• An avidteamplayer
• Experience in the following is astrong plus :
• Overseeing and mentoringjunior circuit designers
• Experience as chiplead with success in silicon
• Experience intaking chips to mass production
• Ability totranslate chip level specifications intoarchitecture
• Strongcommunication presentation and documentationskills.

Expected BasePay Range (USD)

$ perannum

The successful candidates starting base paywill be determined based on jobrelated skills experiencequalifications work location and market conditions.

The expectedbase pay range for this role may be modified based on marketconditions.
