What You’ll Do
Gyptech is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Human Resources Generalist to support our growing team.
Your role will involve :
- Collaborating with managers to understand needs, screening, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Supporting onboarding new employees.
- Helping to create and deliver human resource programs including compensation, benefits, performance and talent management, recognition, occupational health and safety, training and development.
- Providing resolutions to employee relation issues (e.g. disciplinary issues, investigations etc.).
- Assisting with implementation of Dayforce HCM and other HR systems.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned.
This position is based out of our head office in Burlington and will require travel to our Oakville manufacturing facility on a regular basis.
What You Offer
Degree or diploma in human resources or related field with minimum 5 years of related experience. CHRL designation is an asset.
Experience in an engineering or industrial manufacturing environment is an asset. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
