You'll Do :
- Required to remove wood waste and other debris from within and around equipment and dispose of it in the hog.
- Entering into equipment and removing debris manually using tools like shovels and rakes and sometimes by hand.
- Use compressed air or water hoses to aid in cleaning equipment where entering the equipment is not possible or adequate cleanup requires these extra measures.
- Cleaning hydraulic tanks
- Performing fire watch activities (monitoring welding and other hot work to ensure a fire does not occur and to immediately address any incipient fires that start as the result of hot work
- Strict adherence to company safety standards and Safe work practices, such as Lockouts and pre-task hazard assessments.
- On your feet for an extended amount of time.
- Work in a safe manner using proper PPE
You have :
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Availability to work Saturday and Sunday
- Good physical condition
- Ability to work on repetitive tasks
- Ability to work as a positive team member
- Strong commitment to following all safety guidelines and protocols, wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), and taking precautions to maintain a safe work environment.
- Reliable and Excellent work ethic
- Desire to learn, grow and succeed
- No experience required
- Must be turning 18 with in the year.
Compensation Package :
The hourly pay rate for this position is $32.06 per hour for labour skills.
