Job Duties :
bull; Responsible for oversight of all company payroll and accounts payable processing
bull; Government remittance and filings including WSIB, EHT, PD7A's, T4's, HST, ROE's
bull; Bank Reconciliations and cash management for multiple companies
bull; Process journal entries and inter-company accounts and transfers
bull; Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.
bull; Assisting with Government grant applications
bull; General assistance with all bookkeeping functions for all companies, including year-end file / documentation (Financial Statement) preparation.
Requirements / Qualifications :
bull; Degree in Accounting or Finance
bull; 3+ years of Accounting / Finance, Human Resources / Payroll experience
bull; High level of attention to detail and accuracy
bull; Intermediate knowledge of payroll processing programs, payroll legislation and reporting, and payroll contractual language
bull; Understanding of accounting fundamentals, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgets, year-end preparation etc.
bull; Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with solid intermediate skills for Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
bull; 2+ years QuickBooks experience required
